Women’s Telehealth provides routine and high-risk obstetric ultrasounds via telemedicine. Ultrasounds are non-invasive screenings conducted to confirm the fetal heartbeat and check fetal growth. They also check the placenta and the umbilical cord, as well as monitor the baby’s general health and anatomy. Ultrasounds can also be useful to determine the length of the cervix and whether there is any risk for preterm labor. Our team of highly trained registered sonographers conducts both live images of the fetus, as well as store and forward ultrasounds, in which the images are forwarded to a specialist for consultation.

Getting the chance to view your baby in the womb is one of life’s most exciting moments. With telemedicine, Women’s Telehealth can provide ease, convenience, and expertise when you experience this special time. Our state-of-the-art technology provides 3-D and 4-D digital images, resulting in the highest quality images of your baby to track growth and development. Most abnormalities and birth defects can be detected and diagnosed with these high-resolution scans. And, with telemedicine, we can conduct these high-quality ultrasounds right in your local provider’s office. We are able to gather valuable information about the progress of your pregnancy and your baby’s health without any extra travel time or expense.

Women’s Telehealth also provides long-distance learning to ultrasound technicians of Maternal Fetal Medicine imaging for monitoring of high-risk pregnancies. Our sonographers are trained to detect any abnormalities or complications throughout pregnancy that may require further examination.
